"I made this drawing after finishing reading the story of Comanche chief Quanah Parker. At a young age, during a vision quest, Quanah had a vision of a bear, which according to their belief, brought him a strong medicine. The term medicine for Native Americans is used to describe where their source of power comes from. For Quanah it was the Bear medicine. That power brought him lot of strength and success in battle and in life. I wanted to express that feeling in that drawing, when Quanah was galloping, possess by an invincible force."
